The age recommendations here are more important than elsewhere: Puppet shows are suitable for children ages three and up, fairy tales and musical theater for ages five and up, and narrated plays usually for ages six and up. Each listing includes the age range and running time—for the youngest children, the limit is usually 45 minutes. Popular performances sell out quickly, so it’s worth making a reservation one to two weeks in advance.
