Once children turn twelve, the word “children” disappears from the programming—and with it, most of the traditional family programming.
What remains are activities that would also work for adults: concerts, exhibitions, workshops featuring real crafts or technology, and sports. Youth art schools and youth centers offer courses that extend beyond a single afternoon—music, film, photography, screen printing, and programming. Museums and memorials have their own programs for this age group that don’t have an educational tone.
The Krümelmap stops at age 16: Anything explicitly aimed at adults is filtered out during the review process.
